Final Submissions Deadline

Hey guys,

We need to have all documents for the Adobe DVD in by 10:00pm TONIGHT.  The DVD will be burned at 10:30.  Anything submitted after 10 will not be guaranteed to be on the DVD.  Please submit on time.

I will be making a folder on the server for submissions. Follow directions carefully or your work won't end up on the dvd.  It will be in this format:

-Text File (the explanation of the project, has been written already)

DVD COVER PRINTING

Hey Kim,

I have added the dvd cover PSD,  it is in folder 23 Final Ebook Submission / group 8 main page.
It is currently set up for CMYK with a template over it so you can get an idea where the cropping is suppose to go.

Thanks for doing this for us.  Let me know if you need any changes

FOR REVISIONS:  Post files in the week 4 masterpages folder or in the final week folder. THEN Reply to this post  their location as demonstrated in the EXAMPLE on the previous blog post.

Please Indicate the page number(s) and their location.

Old files that don't require revisions: Leave them alone!   Just let us know where they are. Don't move things in places that don't make sense.

Flash!!!

EVERYBODY!

If you have stuff for the flash project that IS NOT in the Week_4 folder please tell us Exactly where it is and under what folders.  If you did post REVISIONS in week_4 please re-label them as (page #)_(asset name)_FNL. We cannot move forward on this project if we don't know where things are.  Most of the assets are in week_4.  If the server is still full please just give us the line of location:

ex)
Week_4> Group 8> Flash ready, etc.

People tell us they have been working on the assets but the server is such a mess it's really difficult to navigate.  Please follow the directions above so we can make this happen and move on.  We all want to be done with this, yo.

New Flash stuff

Hey gang!
I am going to be pretty occupied with Bear film until Tuesday.  We hit major crunch mode.  It would be a great help if you could plug any new visual development assets into your flash scenes, and have them done by Tuesday. I can finish the Master file starting Tuesday afternoon, after the Bear film animation review.

Things revised with rabbit cow

Page 12, 13, 17, 18, 22 have the new cow rabbit in them with the poses. All of them are posted on the server under the folder master in week four. I haven't revised the flash for all of them yet though.

My thoughts on BunBun-Cow

I have some design ideas I'm going to throw out there. What if we keep the bunny we had, but:
-Change the patterning on it to lean more towards that "classic" black and white cow look
-Make the bell on the neck bigger
-Make black patterns on the paws that look like hooves


Here is a crude mock-up of the painting that exists in our Ebook:

I also was given a suggestion by another member of our class to make the bunny-cow a tab bit smaller than we currently have it, so it's not so big compared to our main troll man.

Been scratching a lot of drawings and only got these two that I thought it was ok. What do you guys think?

Character Page

Here is the list of characters page.  I wasn't sure what background to put in and I didn't include the cow because I think it's still being redesigned.  Also, the writing is obviously not final.  Let me know what you guys think or how I can improve on it.  Thanks!
